“Deep crimson. A profoundly complex wine with beautiful dark berry dark chocolate roasted walnut aromas and superb cedar, tobacco leaf nuances.

Generous and sinuous with dense choco-berry, roasted walnut. cedar, demi-glacé flavours, supple yet vigorous fine chalky tannins and attractive mid-palate volume. Finishes chalky firm with plenty of mineral length.

A lovely wine with the familiar polished character and density to the classic Hunter River Burgundies of the 1960s and early 1970s. Very expressive and delicious.
